Payment

All memberships and private training sessions must be paid in advance and in full. All memberships and payments will be on auto-renew and auto-payment unless you have specifically arranged with us to change that. Failure to attend a session does not relieve you of the obligation to pay for your membership. Memberships begin on the date you sign up. Monthly memberships renew on the first day of the month. All monthly memberships must be paid by EFT (electronic funds transfer).

Refunds

No Drama Fitness does not refund, hold, or transfer memberships. We want to ensure you have every possibility of continuing successfully with our program.

Changes to your monthly membership

Any and all changes to your membership (including plan changes) must be given within 10 days of the renewal date (the first day of the next month) via our online form at: http://nodramafitness.ca/cancel

Checking in

Come on in through the front door, take off your outdoor shoes, and put on your indoor shoes. If there is a class in progress, please remain outside the gym until a coach clears the floor to invite you in. Please do not start warming up until you have been allowed on the floor by the coach.

Cancellation policy for 1-on-1 sessions

  • Appointments must be scheduled the day before. Any cancellations must be done and confirmed before 8 am the day of the appointment (however 24 hours is preferred). Late cancellations impede our coaches’ ability to create income, and deprive other athletes an opportunity to train. Therefore, a late cancellation will result in the deduction of your training pass.
  • In the event of weather/road closures please call or contact the coach you are scheduled with to communicate schedule changes.
  • If you are sick, or getting sick, please cancel with 24 hours notice.

Group class reservations

You must reserve classes (at least 1 hour) ahead of time using Zen Planner. Please cancel your reservation for group classes with as much notice as possible. There may be people on a wait list to get into the class and this will allow enough time for them to receive an email and get themselves ready to come to class. If you have an early morning reservation, please cancel before 8:00 pm the night before.

Cell phones in the gym

Cell phones are not allowed on the floor during a training session. Please set your phone to vibrate or silent before entering the gym. Aside from the obvious safety issues, it also distracts you and others from your most important job: training. We want this to be your time to focus on improvement. Also, we love it when you check in on social media and share your success with others, but please do that after the training session has ended and you have permission from your coach.

Exception: Logging Level Method results when prompted by the coach.

Parking

On the side of the parking lot across from the gym entrance, you may park anywhere marked unit 1 or unit 2. On the building side you may park in front of both garage doors, but leave the marked spots on unit 1 free for JNC holding staff. Please avoid parking directly in front of the unit 2 entrance to the gym so that those who need easy access for entrance can park there.

Children in the gym

For the safety of your children, we don’t allow kids to come to class. Some days we’re throwing barbells, swinging kettle-bells, and picking up some heavy things… This type of environment is not kid friendly, and we don’t want anything unfortunate to happen to them. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but this is for their safety only.
Under extenuating circumstances, children are allowed to stay in a specific area of the gym ( the back couch area- unless it is being used by a coach at that time). If your child leaves this area or interferes with the training session in any way, you and your child will be directed to leave the gym immediately.

**Obvious exceptions include the Varsity Youth Program or any other program that explicitly states that children are allowed.

Solicitation (member to member)

We do not allow any business activity or solicitation at our facility. In particular, solicitation of any business competitive with our business (including personal trainer and nutrition services) is strictly prohibited. You agree to pay us any revenues received by you if you violate this policy (plus any legal fees and court costs we may incur to enforce such policy).

Lost and found

Items that are left will be placed in the lost and found area near the main entrance. If these items stay in the box for a period longer than 2 weeks, they will be kindly donated to a charity of our choice.

Late policy

If a member is late to class, they will need to check in with the coach on duty to determine if they will be able to attend. If the class has commenced the skill or strength portion then the member will be asked to attend the next scheduled class of the day. Members who are allowed to join the class late will be given an alternate warm-up to be completed immediately so as not to further delay the class. The individual may also be asked to sit out of the skill or strength portion if they are late and instead prepare for the WOD. This policy is meant to ensure that classes run on schedule and in a safe manner.

We value your safety, and we value our members’ and coaches’ time. We ask that all of our members respect this policy and make every effort to arrive 5 minutes before class. Additionally, if a member is consistently late to class and it appears they are abusing the late policy, the member will be asked to attend the next available class of the day.

Results

We never make guarantees of any kind. Your progress is controlled 100% by your actions. Results are not guaranteed, they are earned.

Attitude

We are all human and have bad days, but if you are mean to other members, we have the right to ask you to leave and cancel your membership at any time. If you are disrespectful toward your coach, you will be asked to leave the training session.

We plan to give you our best, thank you for giving us yours.
